We are excited to share information about our guest speaker, Shelley Sumner.
Shelley Sumner serves as CEO of Life Choices of Memphis, one of the largest pregnancy centers in the Mid-South, where she has spent the past eight years passionately advancing the organization’s mission through leadership roles including Special Events Manager, Director of Development, and now CEO. Under her leadership, Life Choices continues to expand its impact across the community by serving women, families, and unborn children with compassion, practical support, and hope.
Known for her engaging communication style, Shelley is also the host of Life Talk Tennessee, a weekly pro-life radio program airing across Tennessee on BOTT Radio, where she interviews national leaders, medical professionals, advocates, and individuals with powerful personal stories.
But beyond the titles and microphones, Shelley is a wife, mom, worship leader, and someone who deeply believes ministry happens best through authentic relationships and showing up faithfully where God calls you. A graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Vocal Performance, Shelley somehow went from singing on stage to speaking at fundraising banquets — although she’d tell you both require a microphone, courage, and a good sense of humor.
Shelley and her husband Cory live in Collierville with their three children — Preston, Brady, and Hailey — and operate their family business, Batters Box Baseball. If you can’t find Shelley at Life Choices, there’s a strong chance she’s either at a baseball field, behind a microphone, or convincing someone that supporting pregnancy centers changes lives for generations.
